Terms and Conditions

Last updated: April 22, 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the site https://tekora-website.pages.dev and the purchase of Tekorá products, and are governed by Paraguayan law, in particular Law No. 1334/98 (Consumer Protection) and Law No. 4868/2013 (E-Commerce). By using the site or placing an order, you accept these terms.

1. Seller identification

  • Legal name: Tekorá S.A.
  • Trade name: Tekorá
  • Tax ID (RUC): XXXXXXXX-X
  • Registered office: Asunción, Central, Paraguay
  • Email: hola@tekora.com.py
  • WhatsApp: +595XXXXXXXXX

2. Products

Tekorá sells fresh beef and pasture-raised meat products from Paraguay. Descriptions, images and cuts shown on the site are indicative; the exact weight of each piece may vary within the normal margins for fresh product, and the final price is adjusted to the actual weight at dispatch.

3. Prices and payments

Prices are shown in Paraguayan guaraníes (PYG) and include Value Added Tax (IVA) under current regulations. Delivery cost, if applicable, is communicated before you confirm the order.

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Bank transfer.
  • Cash or mobile POS on delivery, subject to availability.

We issue a legal invoice in the customer's name. Please provide your name and RUC or cédula when confirming the order.

4. How the contract is formed

Listings on the site are an invitation to place an order, not a binding offer. The purchase contract is formed when Tekorá explicitly confirms, via WhatsApp or email, product availability, final price and delivery window.

5. Delivery area and conditions

We deliver in Asunción, Lambaré, Luque, San Lorenzo, Fernando de la Mora, Mariano Roque Alonso, Villa Elisa, Ñemby and other localities of the Asunción metropolitan area, subject to availability. The delivery window is coordinated individually before dispatch.

The customer must be present during the agreed window, or appoint another adult to receive the order. If no one is available to receive the delivery, we may reschedule or charge a new delivery fee.

6. Cold chain and quality guarantee

Our products travel in a sealed cold chain. On receipt, we ask you to:

  • Inspect the packaging and temperature before signing for the delivery.
  • Refrigerate or freeze the products immediately.
  • Consume fresh products within the dates shown on the label and follow the storage instructions.

If you find a problem with packaging, temperature or product, let us know within two (2) hours of receipt, ideally with a photo. We'll replace or refund the affected product at no cost.

7. Right of withdrawal

Law No. 4868/2013 on E-Commerce gives the consumer a seven (7) day right of withdrawal from the date of delivery, except for the cases listed in article 20 of the same law, including perishable goods, goods liable to deteriorate quickly, and personalized items.

Because our products are fresh or frozen meat and therefore perishable, the right of withdrawal does not apply once the product has been delivered in good condition. This does not affect your rights in case of quality defects, described above. You may cancel any order at no cost before we have dispatched it.

8. Use of the site

Please use the site in good faith: don't try to breach its security, inject malicious code, or automate submissions to the contact form. All site content (text, photos, trademark, designs) is owned by Tekorá and protected by Paraguayan intellectual property law. You may not reproduce it commercially without our explicit permission.

9. Nutritional and health information

Product information is provided for informational purposes and does not constitute medical or nutritional advice. If you have allergies, medical conditions or a special diet, consult a healthcare professional. Our products are handled in facilities where meat is processed, and cross-contact traces cannot be fully ruled out.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Paraguayan law, our liability towards the customer is limited to the value of the product delivered. We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or damages caused by the customer's failure to follow post-delivery storage conditions.

Nothing in this clause limits the non-waivable rights granted to consumers by Law No. 1334/98 on Consumer Protection.

11. Complaints and consumer authority

We will always try to resolve any complaint directly. If you are not satisfied, you may file a complaint with the Secretaría de Defensa del Consumidor y el Usuario (SEDECO), Paraguay's enforcement authority for Law No. 1334/98.

12. Force majeure

We are not liable for breaches or delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, logistical disruptions, extended power outages, health measures or government restrictions. In such cases we will coordinate rescheduling or refunds.

13. Changes

We may update these terms to reflect changes in our operation or in applicable law. The date at the top shows the last revision. Orders confirmed before the change are governed by the version in force at the time of the order.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Paraguay. For any dispute, the parties submit to the ordinary courts of the city of Asunción, without prejudice to the jurisdictional options that consumer protection law grants the consumer.

These terms were drafted following standard Paraguayan e-commerce practice. We recommend a final review by a Paraguayan legal professional before commercial launch.
