Privacy Policy

At Tekorá we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information we collect when you contact or buy from us, how we use it, with whom we share it and what rights you have over it under Paraguayan law, in particular Law No. 1682/2001 and its amendments, and articles 33 and 135 of the National Constitution.

1. Data controller

The data controller is Tekorá S.A., with registered office in Asunción, Paraguay (RUC XXXXXXXX-X). For any question about this policy or to exercise your rights, write to hola@tekora.com.py or WhatsApp +595XXXXXXXXX.

2. What we collect

We only collect the data we need to serve you:

  • Data you give us voluntarily via the contact form, WhatsApp or email: name, contact detail (email or phone), neighborhood or delivery area, and the content of your message.
  • Minimal technical data needed to protect the form from abuse (IP address and browser fingerprint), processed by Cloudflare Turnstile solely to confirm you are a real person and not a bot.
  • Order history, if you buy from us: products, date, delivery address, payment method and receipt.

We do not collect sensitive data (health, religious beliefs, political opinions, ethnic origin) or data from minors. Our services are directed at adults (18+).

3. What we use it for

  • Responding to your inquiry and coordinating deliveries in your area.
  • Processing and invoicing your order.
  • Keeping a record of your purchases for warranty and traceability.
  • Sending relevant Tekorá updates, only if you expressly ask us to.
  • Complying with accounting, tax and other legal obligations.

The legal basis for processing is your explicit consent (when you send us a form or message) and the performance of the sales contract where applicable.

4. Who we share your data with

We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for advertising. We only share information with technical service providers that help us operate the service, under confidentiality obligations:

  • Cloudflare, Inc., site hosting (Cloudflare Pages), database (Cloudflare D1), anti-bot protection (Turnstile), and cookieless analytics (Web Analytics).
  • Resend, Inc., transactional email delivery so that your contact message reaches us.
  • Competent authorities, when a Paraguayan law or court order requires it.

These providers process data on infrastructure located outside Paraguay (mainly the United States and Cloudflare's global network). By contacting us you accept this international transfer as necessary to provide the service.

5. How long we keep your data

  • Inquiries without a purchase: up to 12 months from your last contact, unless you ask for earlier deletion.
  • Customers with orders: we keep order records for the period required by Paraguayan tax and commercial law (currently five years from the last transaction).
  • Analytics records: Cloudflare Web Analytics aggregates data without identifying you personally.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The site may only set strictly necessary technical cookies, for example those Cloudflare Turnstile uses to validate the contact form. Our analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) is cookieless and does not identify individual visitors.

7. Your rights

Under Law No. 1682/2001 and the constitutional right of habeas data (Art. 135), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectify inaccurate or outdated data.
  • Delete your data when it is no longer needed.
  • Withdraw consent for commercial communications.
  • Object to specific processing on legitimate grounds.

To exercise any of these rights, write to hola@tekora.com.py. We will respond within ten (10) business days. If you believe we are not honoring your rights, you may file a habeas data action before the ordinary courts.

8. Security

The entire site is served over HTTPS (TLS). Access to contact and order records is restricted to the Tekorá personnel who need it and protected by authentication. No system on the internet is completely foolproof, so please do not send especially sensitive information through these channels.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services or applicable law. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. For significant changes, we will post a clear notice on the site.
